If you were a beach Copyright 5/24/97 by Dan Sharpe.

I long to hold you in my arms,
to caress you and sigh my sweet devotion.
If you were a beach I'd be the ocean,
each wave would be a gentle caress.
I'd envelope and cover you with wet kisses,
and leave behind treasures for your eyes.
My words like shells would speak colors bright,
and would bring you calm in the moonlit night.
If you were a beach I'd be the sea,
and no one could seperate you and me.
We'd be together, thought of as one,
and I'd live to enfold you till life was done.
