If - Copyright 1/18/1999 by Dan Sharpe.

If I could hold you in my arms tonight,
I'd hold you till the morning's light.

And when you'd touch your lips to mine,
my heart would know a bliss divine.

As your head lay on my breast,
I'd watch you, in your beauty, rest.

My tears of joy would fall on you,
to kiss you like the morning dew.

If you wore my wedding ring,
my heart would never cease to sing.

Had my heart's dream come true,
I'd spend my whole life loving you.
