My love - copyright 1/17/1999 by Dan Sharpe.

(Memories of Cathy Claire)

My love fell on you like the kiss of the dawn,
its light warmed your life from that moment on.

I poured it out in prose and in song,
hoping you'd see, but I was wrong.

My love shone bright,
into your heart's night.

But you feared its light,
and succumbed to fright.

You couldn't see that I was revealing,
my love and my heart was your healing.
