Ever Feel like you weren't getting anywhere in changing the things in your life,
that you knew shouldn't be there but were?
Well here are a few Scriptures to Rest in, and Rely on.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us in
the Heavenly realms with EVERY spiritual blessing IN CHRIST.
For, He chose us IN HIM, before the creation of the world, to be Holy and
Blameless in His sight. In Love, He predestined us to be adopted AS HIS SONS
through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His Pleasure and Will.
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father,
may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may
know the HOPE to which He has called you,
THE RICHES OF HIS GLORIOUS INHERITANCE IN THE SAINTS,
and HIS INCOMPARABLY GREAT POWER FOR US WHO BELIEVE.
That power is like the working of His Mighty Strength, which He exerted in Christ
when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the Heavenly Realms.
But, because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom His whole family,
in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of His glorious riches
He may strenghten you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that
Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted
and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp
how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love
that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the full measure of all the
fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to immeasurably more than all we ask or
imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in
the church and our Lord Jesus Christ throughout generations, for ever and ever!
The main Theme running through these Scriptures is that God has given us His
power, it is at work in us to accomplish His Will and Pleasure, namely our
sharing in every Spiritual Blessing, it is our inheritance in Christ, to Grow
till we are Holy and Blameless in His sight.
That is the Hope we are called to in Christ Jesus.
"That power is like the Mighty strength God exerted when He raised Jesus from the

Jesus was in a place where the spirits of dead Old Testament saints were.
Jesus, at the time God raised Him, was bearing our sins and transgressions,
God took Jesus, who was made to be our sin, and made Him alive again spiritualy.
"You are my son, this day have I begotten you"
And raised Jesus up to the very throne of God, and seated him (and us in him)
at His own right hand.
That power that The Father exerted took Jesus (and us in Jesus)
from spiritual death (which was total separation from God)
and raised him ( and US in him) up to being as close to God as Possible at His
all I can say is "now Thats Power!"
Ephesians 1:22+23 Says that God made Jesus the HEAD over everything for the sake
of his BODY, the saints.......
God took US in Jesus, and Raised US from the deadness of SIN and seperation from
Him, and Seated US in Jesus at His right hand! Spiritually WE are seated at the
Side of God, not over in the corner, or outside the throne room, but seated in
the place of HIGHEST Honor, at His Right Hand......
The certainty of victory in life is predicated upon the commitment of God to
use His power to bring total submission of every foe: spirit, thought,
life pattern, they are all subject to the dominion that is YOURS in Christ the KING.
When you start to feel down on yourself because you seem to lack the strength
to overcome a habit, or a vice, stop and remember the Battle is WON already,
put your Hope, and Trust in Jesus the HEAD over EVERYTHING
for the Sake of YOU his BODY! turn to Him, and as paul said, when I am weak he
makes me strong... ( 2 Corinthians 12:10 )
